Year 3 & 4

As children enter Key Stage 2 the focus is on increased independence. Pupils are encouraged to take greater responsibility for their own learning and increase their confidence in working alone. Some work is carried out in pairs or groups and children with special educational needs will often receive extra support.

Teachers provide children with a relevant and meaningful curriculum which is creative and exciting for them. Children will continue to follow the National Literacy and Numeracy Frameworks, working at a level which is appropriate to them.

The government have introduced online Multiplication Tests for Y4.
