Mam Tor

The children of Y5 went out on a trip to Mam Tor a 1,696 ft hill near Castleton. The name Mam Tor means Mother Hill and is so called because of all the mini hills below it.

The children set off on their adventure in the morning, caught the bus to Castleton and then began their walk. Once they reached the summit they all had a picnic lunch together, before their descent back down to Castleton and on the bus back to School. Well done Y5 you all did amazing, especially as you had to deal with the wet and every changing weather.
