  • Wear something Purple to school-Friday 27th September

    Thu 19 Sep 2024

Craniosynostosis is a condition which causes a babies skull to fuse before birth or in early childhood. One in every 1,800 to 2000 babies are born with this condition. Early diagnosis is essential so that medical intervention and smaller surgeries can take place but many medical professionals have never seen or heard of this condition. September is raising awareness month for Craniosynostosis. We have 2 pupils in our Wybourn family who were born with this condition. To help raise awareness and to show support for these families we are encouraging children and staff to wear something purple on Friday 27th September.
